LOCAL LAW OF 2008-REFUSE/GARB

No materials will be picked up on collection day in excess of six(6) thirty gallon refuse bags or garbage containers; any more than that will be left at curbside and be asked to be re moved. No "trash" will be picked up on the last Friday of the month, only larger bulk items. No trash can be at the curbside for more than twenty-four(24) hours before pickup. No garbage, refuse, or trash of any kind accepted into the Refuse district from outside the boundaries of the refuse district. Any questions on the boundaries should ask to speak to the Superintendent of Public works. Any person(s) committing an offense of Local Law #1of 2008 can be subject to a fine of up to $250.00 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both fine and imprisonment for each violation.

NOTICE OF DOG ENUMERATION

The Town of Friendship Dog Control officer will be going door to door doing a dog enumeration beginning the 1st week in June . Past due dog licenses will have to be paid current and for any dog found to be "unlicensed" or license expired will have to pay a $5.00 enumeration fee. This can be done at the Town Hall with the Town Clerk on regular business hours. All Dogs 4 months and older must have current rabies and be licensed. $15.50 for a unspayed or unneutered dog; $7.50 for a spayed or neutered dog.
