As part of our commitment to providing secure and trustworthy online services to our residents, the Town of Friendship is transitioning from our current domain to an official .gov domain.

The .gov domain is exclusively available to U.S.-based government organizations. This means:

• Verified Government Entity: Only verified government organizations can obtain a .gov domain
• Enhanced Security: .gov domains include built-in security features that help protect against common cyber threats
• HTTPS by Default: All .gov websites use HTTPS encryption, ensuring your connection to our site is secure
